We all face difficult times in our lives. Whether it is illness, loss of a loved one, financial difficulty, or even trying to overcome obstacles that distract us from doing good, turning our focus to God through prayer is the best way to find peace, comfort, wisdom, and strength.

In John 16, Jesus explained to his disciples that the grief of his death would turn to joy because he was going back to the Father...and because they loved Jesus, the Father loved them. Jesus continued to explain that in this world we will have trouble. But take heart! He has overcome the world.
